Arterial Brachial Index (ABI)
Simple and non-invasive test used to assess blood flow around the wound. ABI has quickly become the gold standard as it provides detailed analysis of the wound.
​PCR Assay- Blood Cultures
Used to detect infection, monitor efficacy, and assess complications.. These tests have a quick turn around- 24-48 hours.
​Advanced Wound Imaging
​Used to collect vital information such as tissue oximetry, temperature, and biomarkers in real time. This allows our team to visualize the infection and gain insight into a wounds oxygen saturation level.
High Frequency Ultrasound
Non-invasive and non-radioactive US modality appropriate for the closure of deeper wounds (i.e. tunnel/sinus wounds).
